This is the third year running I go to Mykonos on the last week of August. This time, however, I left things last minute and the place I usually stay was fully booked. I chose this hotel pretty much based on price and reviews. I was a little bit concerned with the fact I didnt know anyone who'd stayed there but since I knew the location was good and I intended to spend most of my time out, I took the risk. And it was worth it!
I made a huge mistake with the dates when I booked online and Francesca at the front desk did the best to accommodate me, despite that being the busiest week in Mykonos! I am very thankful for that as my holiday could have been potentially ruined there and then. The room is very basic but of an all right size and extremely clean. The bathroom is tiny but the shower is very good, also extremely clean. The front desk staff is amazing, very helpful and friendly. The pool itself is of a nice size but the pool area is quite small, not many chairs. If you want a place where you can spend the whole day in the pool, this is not the one (and why should you, given all the nice beaches in Mykonos!) but the pool is nice enough to lounge on while you wait friends to go to the beach. The breakfast runs until noon, which is a plus. It has a good selection and the yogurt is amazing. It is all about expectation, if you want luxury, this is not the place. If you want a nice located, clean, confortable and good value accomodation, then this is the one!
