It's an amazing pace if you want to be very close to town but not her the noise. Only a 10 min walk to the busy centre but in a quiet location with breathtaking views of the Aegean sea and the sunset right in front of the terrace. Budget but cleaned everyday with a beautiful breakfast served everyday. The lovely owner Helene and her husband are always there to make feel welcomed, She made us an amazing traditional greek pie and took it to our room. I would stay there again for sure.

I am in travel industry more than 14 years,and I know the importance of customer satisfaction.From day one to last day everything was magical,amazing view from the hotel terrace(u can catch sunset with your partner),walking distance to the town,and bus station (you don't need to hire a car),away from noise and crowd .

Rooms are every single day cleaned,air conditioned,perfect breakfast more than we need,great value for money.

I cannot praise Hotel Spanelis highly enough. The rooms were air conditioned, clean, daily turn down service and given its only a 10-15 minute walk to Mykonos town centre its very reasonably priced. The view over the bay is fabulous as are the sunsets. What really sets this place apart is Helene who was the perfect host, from picking up and dropping off at the airport, to local advice ranging from night clubs, parties to local moped hire, nothing was too much, and the hospitality could not have been warmer.

I cannot praise the Hotel Spanelis enough. I got back this evening after spending five nights at Hotel Spanelis on the stunning Greek island of Mykonos. Its French-born Greek owner Helene was the perfect host. She made me and my friends feel like part of her own family and even picked us up from the airport and took us back at the end of our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for her.

The hotel is only ten minutes walk into town so everything is easy to get to. Breakfast consists of croissants, bread, Greek yoghurt and salad and is very tasty. Hotel Spanelis allows amazing views of the sea. If I return to Mykonos I will definitely stay at Hotel Spanelis again. Helene, her family and staff do a first class job and make all the guests feel very welcome from beginning to end.I have stayed in many hotels and guest houses but have never enjoyed such excellent hospitality. It has been an unforgettable few days and I look forward to returning again soon.

Although not a fan of family run hotels this one was an exception. Very friendly but also discrete staff, clean and tidy rooms, wonderful views plus a 5 minute walk to Chora. Add to that the car parking and the wifi and this makes up for a nice vacation. Not a luxury hotel but excellent value for money.

Spanelis is an small and familiar hotel, very clean and well located, less than 10 minutes to chora, I really loved it! The owner, Helene is french, she picked me up in the airport and gave all the tips I need to visit Mykonos, thanks Helene! It was a grateful experience at Greece and Mikonos. My room has a wonderful view of the sea, I spent a very nice time there!! Breakfeast was delicious, good greek yogurt! I choose to do not rent a motorcicle, and I could visit many beaches by bus!
